Office Web Apps Server 屬於 Office  伺服器產品系列，其提供以瀏覽器為基礎
的檔案檢視和編輯 Office 檔案的功能。Office Web Apps Server 會與支援 WOPI
(Web app Open Platform Interface protocol)的產品與服務搭配使用。這些產品
(別名主機) 包含SharePoint 2013、Lync Server 2013 和 Exchange Server 2013
。以下是部份 Office Web Apps Server 可針對這些產品使用的功能：

SharePoint 2013 使用者可透過 Word Web App、Excel Web App、PowerPoint Web
App 和 OneNote Web App，從 SharePoint 文件庫存取 Office 檔案。Office Web
Apps 中具有多種新功能，如支援 Word Web App and PowerPoint Web App 中的共
同撰寫。

Lync Server 2013 可以使用 Lync 2013 和 Lync Web App 來廣播 PowerPoint 簡
報。廣播功能已增強以支援較舊版本更高的解析度顯示及更多種類的行動裝置。具
有適當權限的使用者可以在簡報以外之處捲動 PowerPoint 簡報。

Exchange Server 2013 Outlook Web App 的使用者可以使用Word Web App、Excel
Web App 和 PowerPoint Web App 預覽 Office 檔案附件。這些預覽提供對Office
檔案和位於其中註解豐富、全逼真的的檢視，而不需在檢視之前先下載檔案。
